The chase for who becomes the next coach of the Ghana Black Stars is heating up by the second since Avram Grant’s contract expired at midnight of Tuesday, February 28, 2017.

Confirmed report has it that former Stade Rennais and Olympique Lyonnais defender, Patrice Carteron has filed his application to the Ghana Football Association [GFA] to be considered for the position of the head coach of the senior national soccer team [Black Stars].

Carteron, 46, is not a minnow on the continent [Africa] having coached the Eagles of Mali [2012-2013] and Congolese champions TP Mazembe [2013-2016].

Currently, Patrice Carteron is with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr Football Club.
